2022 was the year that we had to say goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II, Britain’s longest reining monarch. To honour her memory and thank her for her many years of service, we decided to create a range of decorations in her honour. Hopefully this is a little way of keeping her memory close and celebrating her life this Christmas.
This little corgi is made from 4mm thick walnut wood, and is strung with a beautiful purple ribbon. Decorating the bauble is a hand drawn illustration created by our design team that depicts one of the Queen’s beloved corgis that became a symbol of her reign. This is not stickers or vinyl illustrations; we print directly on to the wood and seal the ink with UV technology, so they will not peel off and will last for years and years. The corgi holds a sprig of lily of the valley in his mouth, which was Queen Elizabeth’s favourite flower. As walnut is a natural product, each bauble will be totally unique. Each bauble measures 8cm across, the perfect size to hang on your tree or sit on your mantlepiece.
Queen Elizabeth II will forever be etched in our memories so why not have a small decoration for your tree or home to remember her service. This bauble would also be a lovely gift for someone who will be missing her this Christmas, or even for those who relate to her love of dogs!
